Jubilation erupts all over the United States as Joe Biden is declared President elect of the United States
The State of Pennsylvania and the network MSNBS followed by many other networks have called the winner of the 2020 presidential elections in favor of Joe Biden.
Soon after being declared President Elect, Joe Biden issued a press statement:
"I am honored and humbled by the trust the American people have placed in me and in Vice-President-elect Harris ... With the campaign over, it's time to put the anger and the harsh rhetoric behind us and come together as a nation."
Joe Biden won by over four million in the popular vote count. This is the most votes ever recorded for a presidential candidate in American history. Joe Biden becomes the oldest president ever elected in the United States of America at the age of 77 years and his running mate Kamala Harris is the first black female vice president ever elected.
Shortly after Joe Biden was projected to become the 46th
president of the United States, President Trump’s lawyer Mr. Rudy Giuliani
indicated in a press conference in Philadelphia on Saturday that President
Trump will not concede the election. He stated: "Obviously he's not going
to concede when at least 600,000 ballots are in question,"
