Description
Birds are very interesting and intelligent animals. Weaver birds are mainly found in the tropical climates of Africa and Asia, with over 100 different species.
These birds build detailed, well-woven grass nests in various types of tall trees, typically at the beginning of the rainy season in the West and Southern parts of Africa.
These birds like to breed at the beginning of the rainy season because, at that time, there is plenty of grass and plenty of food to feed their young.
Male weaver birds attract female birds because of their beautifully woven nest homes, which they offer to female birds for breeding and raising their chicks ~ Tom Okure, Ph.D.
