Thick dark clouds over the majestic Delaware Memorial Bridge before a thunderstorm. The majestic bridge provides a two way regional connection for travelers connecting two parts of the Interstate highway, the Delaware Turnpike, or the Interstate 95 highway in Delaware on the south side with the New Jersey Interstate 95 Turnpike on the north. The bridge was first opened in 1951 and since its opening, annual ceremonies are held at the bridge's war memorial on Memorial Day and Veterans Day to honor the sacrifices of American war veterans.
